Event Volunteers
Event volunteers help make all of our StorySlams run smoothly. If you volunteer for an event, you get free entrance to the event. If you volunteer at 3 events you get a free Ex Fabula t-shirt!

Data Entry Team
Volunteers can assist with data entry that supports programming and helps Ex Fabula tell stories about our impact.
- Type up UltraShorts in Word document
- Enter survey data into spreadsheet
- Enter event information into database
Content Creation Team
Our Content Creation Team helps us develop content to post on our blog and social media accounts.ย
- Bloggers can write event recaps as well as pieces that highlight different aspects of Ex Fabulaโs work.
- Zinesters can create artistic zines using UltraShort archives. Zines are shared in mailings and at events, and are used to promote Ex Fabula and storytelling in a new format.
- Audio Engineers can chop digital audio files and separate into specific folders.
Outreach Team
Our Outreach Team helps us get the word out about upcoming events and partnership opportunities. This includes:ย
- Preparing print mailings (handwriting notes, stuffing envelopes, affixing stamps, etc.)
- Dropping flyers at local businesses
- Canvassing neighborhoods
