Here it is, our last secret! (For now.) As many of you know, this Saturday, January 28th, Ex Fabula travels to Alverno’s Pitman Theatre for the New Year Spectacular with the theme “Our Little Secret.” Unlike our monthly Slams, this special event features 10-minute curated stories and is an afternoon (yep, a 3 pm show) not to be missed.

December 14th–The first true breath of Wisconsin winter. The Wind Chill blew a bitter, bone-chilling cold, which seemed to only embolden the Ex Fabula audience to bundle up and face Old Man Winter for our December StorySlam (and the last of 2016), “Perfect Storm.”
As the crowd meandered into the Times Theater, there was an electricity in the air. While holiday tunes played overhead, strangers and friends chatted as audience members freed themselves from their protective layers and settled in for a night of love, laughter and loss.Continue reading “Perfect Storm – Recap”
It was a perfect autumn evening with a warm breeze and a large harvest moon hanging low in the sky as fans and friends passed through the doors of the Milwaukee Public Museum. Audience members received the rare opportunity to explore the Museum after-hours, taking a stroll through The Streets of Old Milwaukee and other exhibits before settling in for a night of moving stories that made us laugh, cry and cheer.
