    Celebrate National Poetry Month with us! We're gathering local poets to share the backstories from their best poems. This annual event celebrates storytelling while honoring National Poetry Month. Date: Friday, April 30th Time: 6:30pm entry, 7pm stories VIRTUAL, Tickets are $10, with a pay-it-forward option available.

    This series will create Brave spaces to share truths about the relationship experience. These workshops are led by our experienced storytelling coaches. Our team will guide participants through interactive, small group activities. Each session is free and open to the public, and will have a different theme – so attend just one or all. No need to prepare anything in advance.  Zoom entry links will be sent to participants on the day of the workshop, so please register in advance. Note: An affinity space is a brave space where all participants have a common identifier or goal that encourages informal learning.

    -What to expect-

    •   Refine existing stories or create structured stories around the relationship experience.
    •   Identify opportunities to tell these stories to racially diverse audiences.
    •   Tell stories one-on-one and in groups.
    •   Feel more confident in storytelling.
    •   Network with a great group of people
  • This workshop is for BIPOC marginalized gender identities.
    *BIPOC – Black, Indigenous, and People of Color
    *Marginalized gender identities include transgender women, cisgender women, non-binary individuals, and all gender identities which have been systematically oppressed by those in power throughout history.
