AfterDark: For the Culture – A Night Celebrating Black and Brown Voices
Date: Thursday, November 19, 2026 Time: 6:30PM doors, 7PM stories Location: Radio Milwaukee, 220 E Pittsburgh Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53204 Cost: $15 advance / $20 at the door if tickets remain. Limited Pay-it-forward tickets available! In collaboration with HYFIN, this non-competitive evening of live spoken word, poetry, and storytelling celebrates Black and Brown voices and brings together a blend of curated speakers with storytellers drawn from the audience. Our featured tellers for this event are XX, YY, and ZZ! Throughout the night, you can also submit an UltraShort. These are handwritten short stories (a few sentences) on the night’s theme that the emcee reads on stage. (They can be anonymous!) HYFIN x Ex Fabula: connecting the culture through stories.
