The words above belong to none other than the self-proclaimed “Terminal Milwaukeean,” Tom Crawford, quoted in a recent interview with Milwaukee Magazine after he was asked about this peculiar title.

This Saturday, April 28th, will see the close of the Terminal Milwaukee storytelling series with one epic finale at Alverno College’s Pitman Theatre.  If you have been lucky enough to witness any of the Terminal Milwaukee events over the past year, you know how tremendous and special each of them has been.  Whether it was heartfelt stories built around each evening’s theme, the insightful historical exploration of each neighborhood led by John Gurda, the enrapturing detail of every story shared by Tom Crawford, or the simple abundance of joy and overwhelming pride for the distinctive Milwaukee neighborhoods in which Terminal Milwaukee was set, we have been humbled and gratified throughout this experience.

We are confident that this final Terminal Milwaukee event featuring bagpipers, a resurrected 70’s punk band, a Grammy-nominated polka accordionist,  a Gospel ensemble, John Gurda and, of course, Tom Crawford, will be no different.

Please join us at the Pitman Theatre this Saturday at 8 pm, and share in the revelry as this very special project draws to a close in grand style.

Tickets are available at the Alvero Presents Box Office.
