Listening to a show in Turner Hall, my favorite building in Milwaukee.​

​I once opened for U2 on the bagpipes. ​

What’s one thing you love about Milwaukee?
The history of movements for social justice in our city

…and what would you like to see change about Milwaukee?
Racial and economic inequality. I would like to see stronger support for public schools and other public goods.​

How do you like to spend your down time?
Eating dinner with my family, walking my dog, reading

What’s it like to be on stage, sharing a part of your life with a room full of strangers?
I feel grateful to those who listen no less than those who tell.

In your opinion, what are the key components to a great story?
I’m still learning. A sense of humility?

My grandfather, my mother, my bagpipe teacher when I was growing up
