Risk. Some people avoid it like the plague, taking calculated risks only when absolutely necessary. Others believe without risk there’s no real reward. On Friday, November 17th the South Milwaukee Performing Arts Center invited Ex Fabula to its beautiful stage for a special, curated Storytelling event focused on the theme “Risking It.” The event featured stories from community members – including several first-time tellers who participated in storytelling workshops earlier this fall.
What does “Risking It” look like? Do those stories change between baby boomers, millennials and Generation Z? We’ve been exploring those questions through a partnership with the South Milwaukee Performing Arts Center that will culminate in a curated StorySlam this Friday November 17.
There’s nothing quite like the end of yet another successful Ex Fabula season. And unlike the theme of this year’s ALL STAR StorySlam hosted at historic Turner Hall this past Thursday night, we can honestly say there are no signs of Unfinished Business regarding our goals for season 8.
